Clinical Interests/Specialty

I have experience working in a mental health crisis center and youth in foster care. I enjoy working with youth and helping them to understand their mental health symptoms better. My main focus has been trauma centered care, focusing on helping individuals to understand and process their trauma and how it has impacted their life. While my main focus has been childhood trauma and working with youth, I also have experience working with individuals dealing with other mental health symptoms.

Clinical Approach

I work to build a therapeutic partnership with my clients. My goal is to not only listen and help process, but also provide resources and skills to aid in managing mental health symptoms. I utilize skills such as CBT, mindfulness, and self care to help my clients better understand where their symptoms are coming from and learn how to better manage them. I prefer to use a strength based approach, helping my clients to find what best aids them and fits well into their life for regular practice and utilization.

Personal Interests/Hobbies

I enjoy taking the time out of my day to enjoy activities such as hiking, writing, reading, and spending time with my family, including our five fur kids Cleo, Jerry, Deliah, Gizmo, and Emma. On nice days you will find me outside enjoying the sunshine, but when it’s cold or raining out, I like to curl up in a cozy blanket with a good book.
